S-Mate2 is battery-powered, eliminating the need for a neutral wire in the mounting box, making installation flexible and straightforward.
As an “eWeLink-Remote sub-device,” the SONOFF S-Mate2 communicates locally with devices through the eWeLink Remote signal when paired with an eWeLink Remote gateway device, such as the MINIR4, DUALR3/DUALR3 Lite, M5, or NSPanel Pro. This setup allows for seamless local control and setting up of smart scenes to automate your home effortlessly.
In addition to local control, the S-Mate2 can be used to operate any SONOFF smart device within the eWeLink app, extending its control to a wide range of devices when connected to the network.
