The SONOFF BASICR4 is a newly upgraded Wi-Fi smart switch equipped with an advanced ESP32 chip. It not only enhances core features but also elevates overall performance, all while maintaining an affordable price point.
Compared to its predecessor, the BASICR2, the BASICR4 introduces three new functions: Magic Switch Mode, Auxiliary Overheating Protection, and “eWeLink-Remote” Control. In Magic Switch Mode, you can still control the light switch through the app even if a traditional wall switch is turned off. (*Note: Only compatible with mainstream brands of double-pole rocker switches. It requires rear-end lights to be compatible with LED, energy-saving lamps, and incandescent lamps ranging from 3W to 100W.)
